I have been trying to get my car right for a while, I have done

valve adjustment
new plugs
rotor
cap
fuel pressure regulator

I had an issue with the harmonic balancer and put a new one on. I cleaned the idle air control valve as shown in the sticky. I dont have any dash codes, when i start the car it will idle ok, then when i (in neutral) give the car a little gas and let off throttle it drops idle and does not recover well, or it will stall.

Air conditioner on or off and headlights on or off does not affect this.

anything else to troubleshoot or check before i go and try to get a new idle air control valve? I have been thinking about fuel filter but not sure of its gonna help

Have tried adjusting the idle speed. There's a diagram in the FAQs sticky?

Does the CEL work? CEL codes?

have not adjusted idle speed, i would assume that would be the last thing i wanted to do

yea i stated in first post that there were no dash codes..... check engine light = cel never entered my mind

I have to do the idle troubleshoot guide before heading to you pull and pay

If the CEL doesn't work, then you'd never know that a code is thrown.

I have a obd reader, hooked it up and nothing came up, I seafoamed intake last week and cel came on and threw a code. I cleared it out as it was vaccume leak
