Had my Civic a week. The drivers window (manual) is very hard to roll down and up. It's worse when it's about 75% open. Wondering if anyone had ever heard of this and if anyone might know how to go about fixing it?

Any tips on removing door panel?

yea just spray wd-40 around the edges of the window where it tracks. thats the simple solution, or you could take your door panel off and grease the gear and the tracks on the regulator.

 

has it recently drove in the rain because if you get it wet and it dry it will like dampen the black rubber part and will make it hard to roll up wait it out and see what happens

 

Does it dry or wet. Only had it a week, so I don't know how long it's been doing it.

How hard is it to remove door panel. Where are the screws hidden?

 

there no hidden screws first u have to remove ur door speaker
then u theres a screw in the handle in the door
then u have to remove ur window handle there like a round pin going around the handle u could pop that off with a srew driver
then there one more behind the door handle
pull it open and look behind it and u will see it

 

silicone spray is your friend.

i dunno if you guys have a brand called "spanjaard" in the US, but my ferio's electric windows got too tight to close, they would just stop halfway up - i sprayed a bit of spanjaards silicone spray in the window "guide" where it meets the door.

now my windows go up like VTAKK just kicked in..yo
