1996 Honda Civic Oil Leak Bottom Right
I have an oil leak on the bottom near the transmission all the way to the right of the oil pan toward passenger side. I'm uploading a pic. Does anyone know what the issue might be?

It's leaking on the bottom right side of the transmission? Take a picture of everything in the way also so I can tell exactly where the leak is located.
Your picture is hard for me to tell where that is on the motor.

the black in the pic is the oil pan just to the right of exhaust. There is a stiffener to the right of the black pan and i think that the stiffener mates to the flywheel cover, but not sure. This is all toward the passenger side.

I've got a 96 ex D16y8. Looks like a Y7, Y8 had a cast oil pan not a black stamped one. Also thought that stiffener was only on the auto trans, man trans had 2 separate ones but hey whatever. take the stiffener off, take the clutch cover off, get a mirror and a flashlight and look towards the motor or stick your finger up in there if you see/feel oil up in there above the oil pan that means its your rear main if not throw a new oil pan gasket on and get it.
