Default 1996 civic EJ6.... No bodykit, but i need front bumper for fog lights, which one?

Ok so my friends have been pressuring me into getting a bodykit for like half a year now for the EJ6.... finally today, just now I looked into them, on some onderground design site or something like that and I came to the conclusion all of them look crazy ugly and that my car aint a spaceship. So forget that ****, however I do want fog lights, and currently I just have a stock body...Which bumper can I get that would have room for foglights? From a different year model civic I guess that would fit an EJ6

they make factory foglights for your car, or you could go with the depo aftermarket one. tell your friend he is a ricer

the stock bumper should be fine, they fit just like they do in that picture, you can get it from passwordjdm but they may be a lil pricey, im guessing 125-200.

I think you should spend a couple days if not weeks searching this site before you make anymore threads.

YOUR A R'er! but yea just get a 99-00 frontend conversion, and then you have a nice mount for fogs, or stick with the 96 fogs, and just get a lip.

From what I've seen, the passwordJDM fog units are depo's and if you're getting depo's why not get them off ebay and save some moeny? Now you could try to find OE units, people say the optics are better and they use the OE wiring that in the car........ Oh and the OE units have clear lenses, the Depo units you can get in clear or yellow lenses.

I've got a 96 with Depo's that I got off ebay, had them pretty much since I got the car (almost a year now) and I've not had one issue.

Dude....do not get that bumper...It looks like **** and it will just crack..and plus that is way riced out! Just stick with the factory bumper and get the depo fogs. Get a front lip and it will look pretty clean...

I'll say it again.

When it comes to '96-'98 aftermarket foglights (that includes the PWJDM ones)...

Esuse > DEPO

I've posted many times on the problems I had with DEPO. Though not all '96-'98 DEPO lights have issues, they seem to be much more likely to have problems than the '96-'98 OEM or Esuse foglights or the '99-'00 OEM, Esuse or DEPO foglights.

My Esuse lights.

Here's a question:

Why the ******* hell do you listen to your friends? Why do you listen to anyone when it comes to your exterior modifications?

If you like bodykits, get one. If you like lipkits, get them. If you like carbonfiber cannards, get them. If you like APC foggies, get them.

Do what you want and stop being spoonfed this bullshit from everyone about "this looks sick, this looks awsome, this is the best thing."

Be a man and make up your own mind.
