1996 civic cluster swap, SRS light on HELP
so in my 1996 honda civic 2 door SI vtec canada my clusters fuel guage hasnt bene working forever, so today I finally went to a junk yard and found a cluster with working fuel guage so i bought it for ten bucks, hah what a steal.
Anyway came back home and put it in and now my SRS light is constantly on.
Keep in mind i jus switched the whole cluster, not the guages.
my old one said 369ks this oine said little over 200k's, + the fuel guage worked and everything else so i just switched it in.
Maybe if i cant fix this problem ill just swap the fuel guage and odo guage to the old cluster and run that.
I didint even check to see if my odl cluster had the lightbulb in the srs slot taken out, so it could of been on in the old one just no light to illuminate the srs letters, cause my old cluster had some weird **** done to it, computer paper in blue with black vtec letters on it taped to the back and a bulb wired to illuminate vtect on the clusters , was a big LOL when i found that out. the dude has a whole pile of hack wire jobs here n there.
The car it came out of was a 4 door civic newer model but i think it had the air bag taken out cause it didint have the oem air bag cover it had the aftermarket TRAY insert on the passenger side dash.
My car has the airbag.
So whats causing my cluster to pop the SRS light?

Did you try to reset the light?
