Default 1994 Hatch slow progress BUILD

^day i got it^

Whats up the names Argenis I'm Dominican and this is my build.
This is a red 1994 Honda Civic Hatchback, it has:

:Engine:

-JDM B16a
-AEM intake
-DC headers
-GSR tranny
-p72 chipped computer

The only bad things with it are:
-Bad 2nd gear on the tranny
-Broken brackets on the headlights therefore cant align the front bumper until i get headlights
-I believe i have a bad head gasket you tell me...

^^^Is that a bad head gasket?
-Has a bad water pump.
-Needs paint job. Original paint used to be black and they painted it red for some reason.

FIRST PROJECT:clean interior and remove some sound deadning material.
Pics:

Putting interior back

Looks like it will be a fun project. The oil leak is not from the headgasket, most likely from the cam seal or the VTEC solenoid gasket. it just builds up there and below if for some reason, the headasket doesnt leak oil.

do you have white smoke, rough idle, coolant loss? oil loss? oil in your coolant? coolant in your oil? overheating? that's the usual signs of head gasket.

I'm going to be doing mine this week I have white smoke, rough idle, loss of power, no overheating

i have a little bit of smoke at start up and it actually idles low and turns off some times so it is definitely not idling hard, at start up i do have loss of power and it bogs down when i accelerate it at start up, i do have coolant loss but that cause of the water pup, and i don't know if i have oil in my coolant or coolant in my oil. How would i check that? and no it is not overheating i actually think its under heating. which is also bad.

I don't really know but mines does not line up because the lights sag since there are no brackets and the bumper where it meets the fender does not have the screws but i wouldn't know why yours do not line up sorry man.

My Mercedes used to bog when cold too, I was never able to solve that problem.

You would know if you have oil in your coolant because your coolant would get creamy and thick. I was able to run my Mercedes for 6 months on a blown headgasket because of that. Definitely not a pretty sight. Its much better than if you had coolant in your oil, because then thats really bad for the motor.

That oil leak is NOT from the head gasket, but id replace it anyways, along with your cam seal, and VTEC solenoid gasket.

That gauge is a fuel pressure gauge.

I bet your swap was done in a back yard. It looks like a shitty swap to me.

----

Anyways, the ride is pretty clean so far. I like how the rims look on it too. Id ditch the EK fogs, the alignment is pretty much ugly. The painted spoon spoiler is pretty sweet too.

Get me a better picture of your engine bay. I want to help you out with your intake problem.

Looks like you got your work cut out for you. I think the EK fogs look pretty good on the EG.

Also, there an appearance section that you can move your build there.

They look good but the don't align either. Also they have a switch but there is no wire.

Nice build man!

That doesnt look like a headgasket problem..like you said that seems like a bad water pump or failing water pump...that leak could be a number of things already stated as well as the Distributor O-ring. And that gauge looks like a Fuel pressure gauge of some sort.

you sure original paint was black? looks like its red unless they stripped every single part from it and painted the whole car red.

The code on the door says black that's what leads me to believe it was originally black!

Will get pictures today in the afternoon.
