1994 Civic DX misfires at idle! HELP!
Hey everyone,
I'm a long time lurker, n00b to posting. I've got a 1994 Civic DX, bone stock w/ the D15B7, except for an AEM CAI, that I'm struggling to cure a rough idle/misfire at idle problem. Before flaming me for starting this thread, please read everything that I have done to cure it, in accordance with the findings of several searches I've done on the topic. Thus far, I have done the following to the car in response to this problem:
1) Removed and throughly cleaned FITV and IACV
2) Removed and cleaned throttle body to squeeky clean
3) Removed and Ultrasonic cleaned fuel injectors
4) Replaced spark plugs
5) Replaced spark plug wires
6) Inspected dist cap and rotor
7) Replaced ignition coil
8) Replaced ignitor
9) Replaced coolant temp sensor with a spare that I had
10) Checked for vacuum leaks
11) Checked TPS voltage - normal with .5V closed ant 4.5V at WOT
12) Removed t-belt cover and checked for proper cam timing
13) Set base idle speed
14) Confirmed ignition timing at 16 deg BTDC
The car misbehaves when warm. It will not rough idle until I rev it up and let if fall back to idle, sometimes to the point of stalling the engine. Car runs great otherwise. I'm going to try replacing the fuel filter tomorrow, but I'm running out of parts to throw at this car. Any suggestions anyone has are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!
