1993 civic steering problems
ok this just started happening, at low speeds, when i turn left my steering is fine. but when i turn right its hard to turn and feels like i dont have any power steering. any ideas? i checked my power steering fluids and im good with that. would ball joints or bushings be my problem? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 1993 civic steering problems
They man, if that's the issue. Rack could be bad as well, but 9 times out of 10 it's the lower ball joints. I would check them out. If they do break you really don't have any control over where the car is going so i'd do it sooner than later.

no fluid leaks that im aware of, but if i do see some fluids by the steering rack boot. that means i have a bad rack?

Re: 1993 civic steering problems
Fluid leaking from a boot would indicate a bad end seal. If severe enough, it could cause unidirectional loss of assist like you are experiencing. There are also internal rack failures that could cause the same problem.
