Default 1993 Civic CX - what offset to use??

I'm looking at some 15x8 inch rims, XXR 522. They come with a 0 offeset, how will they fit? Or will they fit with out rubbing.

I am building this car up to track and autocross. They also sell 15x7 with +25 offset.

Which one wont rub and requires little or no modification to the car.

I plan on running 224/45-15 R-S3.

Thanks for you help!

Pretty sure a 8" with a 0 offset will poke out of the fenders like crazh. Your tire size is good especially with a higher offset.

Think your better off going with the 7" with a 205/50 as I think that a 225/45 will bulge on a 7" wheel

No chance. You could always go with retard camber to "make" it work.

Thanks for all your input, if I was wanting to run 15x8. What offset should i look for? I know I might have to roll my fenders. I just dont want to have wheel rub.

Thanks!

You'd have to run a crazy high offset to run 8" wide wheels and not run. Like +45

+35 is good figure for track and you gotta roll for 15x8

I think it depends on three things weather or not you need to roll the fenders:
- negative camber
- tire width
- ride height

Hell, 16x8 +20 & 205/40-16 seem to fit Integras (front fender do look a little rolled):

I think 15x8 on a Honda is a bit ridiculous, especially for autox/tracking. I know having wider rubber is better, but if you're rocking a set up that doesn't fit/work with the car, it's pretty much useless. Go for form over function. I haven't really seen many trackable Civics with tires over 205. If anyone rocks such a setup, I would love to check it out.

205's are good on rims up to 8" wide. I think it's the offset that's the problem. Either way, you risk having fitment issues.

I'm getting the 205's with the 15x7 rims this weekend, I'll post some pics when they're installed.

I was thinking of going with the hella flush look on my hatch and was told to run the 15x7 and no more the a 10 on the offset. I am lowered 2.5inchs though.
