do you want to know which is better, which is worse, which costs more, which will pick you up more chics, which one is blacker, which ones will last longer, which ones ride harder, which ones for rain, which ones for dry,
This isn't English 025, ask a clear question and you'll get clear answers

if you running b-series, then definatly 195/50R15. d-series can be used with the 45 profile, but remeber load capacity will change with the profile. therefore lower the proflie the lower load carrying capacity.

195/45/15 is way too small. I even think that 195/50/15 is too small. Both will throw off your speedometer. Go with 195/55/15. This is the stock 15" tire size and you can get Ecstas and ES100s in this size.

I would go 205\50. Just a bit wider and supply a bit more grip. Wont rub if you have factory camber setting. As close to zero as possible in the front and negative 1 in the back.

all that im sayin is that i dont want to dump my ride and adjust camber as close to 0 as possible and rub... thats why im concerned with the size soo much.

Judging by his avatar I'm assuming he has a 5G Civic, with 195/50-15 being practically the same rolling diameter as stock.

the 195/45/15s would be a lot better. It would actulat help the gearing of the car. Stock tire size is 22.6" and the the 195/50 would be like stock 22.6" but the 195/45's would have a 21.9" diameter. Its like getting a better final drive I'm foreal though.

45's though would make it like you have better gearing!
(sorry, I'm very bored and I havent had power in forever because of the hurricane here on the east coast)

Nah, these are the correct diameter:
195/45/15 - 21.91"
195/50/15 - 22.68"
205/50/15 - 23.07"
195/55/15 - 23.44" - stock diameter

Actually, you're right for the 13" tires. The 13" tires have a smaller diameter while the 14" and 15" tires are almost an inch larger in diameter. So I guess if you have a 92-96 Civic CX or DX, 195/50/15 would be the perfect match as far as tire diameter. I guess I never thought much about 13" tires because my car came stock w/ 14" tires. Here are the diameters according to the calculator link I posted above:
175/70/13 - 22.65"
185/65/14 - 23.47"
195/55/15 - 23.44"
