Don't waste your time. There is no "biggest" cam. This isn't a V8 where you can swap cams and gain 50hp.

For what purpose? Your last thread was how to make your car faster. So again, don't waste your time. Turbo or swap. Anything else is a waste of time and money. I have collected data to prove it. If you wanted to go fast you bought the wrong car with the wrong engine in it.

So remembering you said you don't want to spend any money, I'd say keep it stock or consider loosening up your pocketbook.

Well. It seems you're hellbent on trying to find "power" where none exists. So why don't you do the cam swap and come back and tell us what happened?

Your long geared transmission will negate most of the benefit of doing that swap.

Cheapest it gets is a re-grind from Delta. But then there's tuning involved so unless you're getting high comp pistons and milling the the head down, doing valve train work (required anyways), and spending money, its not worth it.

Get a spare motor, build the bottom end, hit up GoAutoworks and get a turbo kit. Then install and tune.

Well if I do that wouldn't the engine last like a few months until the engine blows up or something?

Do some researching...stop expecting to get spoon fed. If you would have done a little reading with a simple search, you would have learned you cant put a vtec cam in a non vtec head...

I wanted to see him try it.
As mentioned. Boost or swap it. Do it right and you will have no problems. Try and go F&F and it probably won't.

But if you don't want to spend any money...

From your posts, you aren't capable of doing any of the work yourself anyway, so you have to pay labor on top of parts.

Go find a shop and ask them how much it will cost them to turbo and tune your car. You will then sell your car, and buy something faster out of the box.

Don't waste your time on swaps. Junk junk. Build the motor go turbo or supercharge. If you go swap then go with a dohc swap build it and turbo it. Build real hondas and stop taking easy way out with gay *** stock b16 that only push 164 or so at the cranck and get smoked by minivans. Us Honda guys have a bad rep alredy we need to start building real cars.

Tell him not to swap, then tell him to do a dual cam swap, then tell him not to waste his time with dual cam swaps and hondas cause they get smoked by minivans, on a honda forum.... Uhh, what?

It's the honest truth. Read what i said I told him do a swap if he was going to go turbo because d16 clhave been brought up to the 400hp mark but with a lot of money. he c.an save his money do a swap build the motor if he wants and push sick power out of the b,k,f,h w.e way he wants to go. Reason im saying hkndas get beat by minivan its true. my gf has a Honda van I races my buddy with a mini swap and I smoked him alli can do is laugh. I wanna see more competition out there instead of these 16sec hondas
