16x7 Rota Circuit 8... tire size?
I've done some searches... but didn't find anything specific to my application. What size tire should I be putting on these rims? I'm thinking either a 205-40-16 or a 205-45-16... not sure what the differences would be though. Thanks guys...

I'd put 205/45R16 on there. You can put either, though. I have 205/45R16 on my 16x7 Slipstreams that are on my 96 civic.

I got this from http://www.whalentire.com
205/45R16 0.20 Inches shorter than stock tire
IF YOU TRAVELED 60 MPH WITH THIS TIRE INSTALLED ON YOUR VEHICLE
YOUR SPEEDOMETER WOULD READ 60.5 MPH
215/40R16 0.70 Inches shorter than stock tire
IF YOU TRAVELED 60 MPH WITH THIS TIRE INSTALLED ON YOUR VEHICLE
YOUR SPEEDOMETER WOULD READ 61.8 MPH
205/45R16 0.20 Inches shorter than stock tire

right, I guess one of my concerns is the sidewall... am I going to lose any ride quality by going with a 40 series sidewall as opposed to a 45 series? The car will be bouncing around on groundcontrol coilovers and kyb agxs...

Re: (Mocky57)
I have 40's, but I plan on getting 45's next. The sidewall is too thin on the 40's....

FINALLY someone agrees with me. more traction, more beef, more looks! MORE IS BETTER. wider is better. ehhehe. if you lower your car to where it rubs, its probably not the best suspension setup.
