Default 16 inch Rota Grids and tires (not a fs thread)

I just bought a set of 16x7 rota grids from a friend, and i need some tires. I am looking for a good tread life, medium performance tire that does good in the wet and not bad in the dry. Since i live in South FL, and it is the rainy season wet traction is a priority. Im not looking for a low profile tire, basicaly something that will look good with the rim. My car is lowered on H&R sports 1.75 inch's in the front and 1.5 in the back. All opinions and personal experience is welcome . If there are previous threads about this please direct me to them, because i searched and could not locate any of them.
Thanks - Will

yokohama or kumhos are good

just remember, the more expensive in the performance section, the less they last

Falkens won't last long? ...are Azenis the only Falkens that you think exist?

Falken Ziex tires are known to last a while... Azenis are known to wear quite fast.

There have been a few tire threads recently in which i've said I think the Falken Ziex's i have mounted on my wheels are great tires.

205/50/15's like i have go for around $200+ shipped.

I second that, I got the 195/50/15's and they hold out pretty good with a drop similiar to yours. There are really good in the rain and probably average in dry weather. I would recommend them for your conditions.

Now im in a debate with my friend, Which would better suit my needs. 205 45 16, or 215 45 16. I dont drag race since i am still rocking the sohc and know what times i can pull. Basicaly just city driving (to work and school), and sometimes highway. How long would the yok's last compared to the ziex with normal driving habits?
