your coupe is heavier and he has more tq than you. your going to need to do some weight reduction, higher comp. pistons, and cams and tuning to hit 14's

are you serious?
he has a B16....with good driving and clutch and flywheel wiht I/H/E...he should be 15 flats alllll day.....maybe even 14,9's or 8's.....
his car isn't that heavy....hell i think that'd be compettion for that slow GSR EF....14.7????

yeah my friends 99-00 si was going 15.0@92 with a Aem CAI,Dc header uncapped...everything else was stock. The clutch was slipping a little going into 3rd so i think it was helping him manage the spin off the line.

I'm not sure what gauges has to do with anything, but he should be hitting a 14-flat with his car.
It would help us to give you advice if you would post your timeslip so we can see where time needs to be made up. Considering that "B" ran a 13.9 with his I/H/E B16 EG hatch, there's really no reason why you shouldn't be able to dip into the 14's if you don't utterly suck at life.

all u need to do is learn how to launch really well/it will help if u lighten up ur car and maybe take out back seats and spare tire/ then just make sure ur car is tuned really well if its not. u already have a b16.and if u have a system take that out as well.
