Default 1 O2A - Oxygen sensor #1 Cel, Check Engine Light

Had this code pop up today in my 2000 D16Y8 Civic. Using the paperclip trick I pulled the OB1 cel of 1 - Oxygen Sensor #1. I didn't have a scanner to check more in depth.

I went ahead and reset the ECU to clear the code to see if it comes back, but is this a symptom of a o2 sensor going bad?

Do nothing unless the code returns.

This is what I'm leaning towards doing but I've heard that o2 sensors rarely give any signals when they're going bad, only when they completely fail. Or it could have just been a glitch in the system; I was messing around with the AC system at the time.

If code does come back replace with a Denso or NTK sensor. Cheapest place is typically Rock Auto.
