Default 97 gsr - Engine keeps dying help?

EDIT: EVAP monitor not ready, drove it about 500+ miles overall. resetting, changing ecus. no leak in the system best suggestions for a drive cycle?

for the cali guys does all monitors have to be ready to pass state ref? i hear some say only 3 /4 are needed, can someone confirm this?

got a 97 gsr swap into my 97 ek. failed smog on the 15mph.

had cel p0171 bank 1 too lean code. ends up being injectors 1 or 2 were clogged, replaced them with used working ones. buddy suggest i use e85 low emission fuel(idk if this was a good idea)

it ran fine as long as you warm it up. then couple days ago,

cel goes on. i turn on the car then it just dies. i gas it about 3k then just dies.

had cel p0301 p1399 misfire cylinder 1 code. recently changed spark plugs/dizzy cap rotor.

now the car idles good for about 2 mins then dies. i drove it about 15 minutes you feel it sluggish or not flowing smooth, but it ran fine. got home, parked it or 2 minutes, then just dies again.

suggestions?? ideas?

Also might question whether the stock fuel pump gets the same cooling from E85 or will it overheat and kill the pump?

From AEM's website it seems there might be something to that:
AEM’s 310lph E85-Compatible High Flow In-Tank Fuel Pumps feature robust internal construction that is designed to withstand the low lubricity characteristics of ethanol and methanol fuels,
You may have also burned up your stock fuel pump.

Not to mention you need to be able to pump 42% more fuel when using E85 from what I've read.

no its not tuned for e85. what's the best way to take it out? Drive it? Drain it?

I have the Walbro 255 fuel pump.

Drain it/Siphon it. You can get a hand pump and get access just under your back seat.

Access is by the access panel under your back seat.

It's typically one bolt that holds the back bench seat in. Undo that bolt, lift the bench seat up and you will see your access to both fual pump and inside your gas tank.

found little leaks around where the cat was welded on right before the primary o2 sensor, hopefully this is the sole problem.

this p0301 p1399 is a pain in the a**

Changed spark plugs, wires, dizzy cap and rotor, did a compression test 200 200 200 210. did notice oil in spark plug threads, but its pretty sure its from valve cover plug seals.

any other suggestions?

I assume when you changed the spark plugs that you cleaned the oil out of the plug holes? When was the last time you changed the fuel filter?

What brand of spark plugs and wires? Should be using Honda plug wires and NGK spark plugs. The AutoZone cap and rotor are okay.

could oil on the spark plug cause a misfire? maybe the leak coming from the sparkplug seals is the culprit

P0301 is misfire in #1 cylinder and p1399 is a random misfire. Perform a compression and cylinder leakdown test. Then go from there.

Did a compression test results were 200 200 200 210. will do a leakdown test soon.

As for the oil the plugs, pulled them out, they seemed normal, a bit dark colored though.
