Default 1.7 engine swap

i have a 93 del sol auto with a d16z6 in it and have recently came across a 03 1.7 vtech with like 30000 miles. is it worth the hassel of getting the new one
"just in case" and how hard would the swap be

yeah, not worth it. I think those run off of OBD3 or something like that, that motor is just not worth the hassle

The only option is to put the D17 crank/rods/pistons in your Z6 block. If you want to know the steps needed to make the parts work, let me know.

oo,oo, i know it says VTEC not VTECH. that is unless yuor lookin at the cover on your phone

Acutally if you want to be that damn critical, the only marking on the D17 Valve Coveris the letter M.

Chances are it doesn't say VTEC on his D-series valve cover in the sol either. Its still not an excuse though...
