Yeah seriously, D-series...they go high 15s, low 16s. A buddy of mine, 95 EX with the D16Z6, he did 15.9 and it was his first time to the track. So mid to high 15s on Z6, maybe a few tenths more without VTEC....that's if the driver is good. SOHC can't get you single digits, so don't even try.
B18B...so thats the LS motor, probabily mid 15s, throw a GSR head on there, you'll be hitting 15.3 with VTEC. Stock GSRs run 15.3
B16A2...slightly less than the GSR motor, but still kicks hard with that varriable valve timing. 15.3-15.5 on the 1320.
Man, get the B18C5 motor....ITR, does 14.7 stock. Now thats hanging with some stock FI cars
But if you got serious cash to burn ($4K+) hit the RSX Type S motor...K20A. 200 ponies...and it's ******' N/A! Throw that in a civ' hatch? Jesus, probabily nip 13s!
H-series=ewww
Don't play that game with a dinky hatch. Swap it in a coupe at least. Those H-series are beefy, but only in a straight line. Don't try to rally on off-ramps with your friend's ITR. You'll be impressive with your 1320, but not on the road. H-series are pretty heavy and will most likely hurt your front end handling.

I really hate when people make decisions to mis-inform people when they have no actual expierence do some research and see that the h22 though thought of as the all heavy beast is actually not as heavy as everyone makes it out to be

read this thread and learn something that is what we are all here to do

uh... VTEC= Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control
It's a combination of Variable timing and cam lobes.
