1,2,3 probLems: brakes, carbon fiber repair, running lights
Hey there, i have 3 problems that need to be fixed:
1. Driver side Front Brake makes a Squeak/Squeel Noise when the tire rotates.
2. Carbon fiber hood popped up on me in the freeway, did not shatter my windshield but the hood is very Flimsy now. Looks like all the hard glue holding it together snapped in half or something.. i was thinking of using a heatgun and melting all the glue and then applying more glue?
3. My running lights wont come on
Help me out please, thank you.

1. Replace pads and rotors
2. No clue
3. Fix sidemarker and replace fuse.
You have 478 posts and you still post crap like this?

1st you probable need to put new brake pads on the car the squeaking sound your are hearing is there because the pads are almost worn out. NEVER SPRAY WD40 or any lube on a braking surface. It will only cause problems.
2nd not sure I have never worked with carbon fiber. I do know that they use a vacuum to force the glue into the fibers.
3rd did you replace the missing light assy and check for and replace the blown fuses?

1. I hope spraying the WD-40 was just a joke. That is the worst thing I think I ever heard. ***FIX*** replace pads. At this point you may need to work on the rotors too.
2. Good luck
3. Check your fuses.

problem #1 - you need to replace the pads and rotors.
problem #2 - for the hood, you should have had the hood locks. they will have prevented this from happening (actaully i believe it was probobly advised when you purchased the hood). you most likely need a new hood.
problem #3 - inspect the wirings to the lights, fuses, and the bulb itself.

I said it was crap because this is basic car knowledge that most WOMEN know. You should already know that you need to change pads and/or rotors. And you should know how to check and replace a fuse.

i think the worse part is that he sprayed WD-40 on his braking surface good way to help natural selection along

So you figured you would reduce friction on your brake pads to make them stop squeeling?
Brilliant.

Dumbass, it says "Modified by efocmacro at 11:38 AM 9/6/2006" at the end of your first post. You thought you'd be slick and edit out the part where you sprayed WD-40 on your brakes.

Dude we all read it where you said you hosed that **** down with WD-40. Notice my first reply that I referenced it too. I do have to say that editing that out was far smarter then do in it and farther smarter than telling people you did it.
Best of luck on your repair work.
