Buy a complete spindle from a yard for 50$ or whatever and try it? I doubt anyone tried it before, I dont think it'l work based on my experience with my accord and my civic

That should be a big red flag right there.

I believe I have a rear spindle laying around, I dont know how different the TL is from the 7th Gen accord but its like an Integra vs civic basically.

if I have time tomorrow ill check it out. I doubt it'l be as simple as Integra type R calipers and mini cooper(?) rotors, though. With a big master cylinder that'l probably be the best option.

the reason i was curious was because there was a complete almost new front set (knuckle, spindles, rotors calipers, pads and lines) for sale on craigslist for $150 and from what ive seen thats a much better deal then piecing together a kit using different models. and reason that i thought BE didnt do a write up was simply because it was either uncommon or he didnt have the parts laying around. after all i doubt acura would go through extensive and exopensive route of modifying knuckle and spindle on a car just to attach 4pot calipers.

Then try it. Back in the day people used to actually do things like that and gain first-hand knowledge whether it worked or not.

You say expensive and extensive mods to use 4pot calipers? You're saying that like the J series TL is the same car as a D series civic. If anything, it'l probably bolt up to my accord not your 6th Gen civic.

like I said I dont think its gonna be a bolt on affair. I think the brackets are pretty different, not that I measured them, but I'm assuming the TL knuckle is similar to the accord knuckle. And I'm assuming its significantly different from an old civic knuckle. Idk the differences between 5th and 6th Gen civic and 7th "inspire" accord and 3rd Gen TL.

I wouldn't waste 150$ to try it, go ahead though, you know research costs time and money lol

With a little bit of work I bet you I can make the calipers fit. Finder rotors that size, and redrilling them to 4x100 isn't hard.

It shouldn't be much different (if at all) than a TL-S brake swap. Whole lot of effort to make it work, including sourcing ITR hubs.
