Default 02 Sensor Problem...

Hey Guys,
I need some help. I have a 95 Civic Lx with an autobox (or should I say had); anyway I did a tranny conversion and decided to swap in a JDM B18C. The car runs great, especially with all its mods installed: hasprt mounts, greddy evo II exhaust, DC header, aem short intake, high-flo cat (still need to install aem cam gears, jg edelbrock manifold, edelbrock 65mm throttle, toda timing belt, ground wires, and some guages I have lying around). And the problem is that I'm throwing a 1 engine code (the 02 sensor). I installed the sensor, but still throwing the code. I noticed that the Civic had the 02 located at the middle of header, while the stock gsr had it located at the very end of the header. Could the location of the sensor be the problem? Or is it the wiring? I have the Hasport subharness installed and everything runs great (gotta luv vtec!), but the engine light is annoying. I have about a year before my next smog check-up, but I'd like to have the car bar'ed before then, so if anyone has any suggestions, it'll be appreciated.

Thanks,
B

-anyone have the civic lx ecu pinout chart available?

Well the place that I got the B18C said it was a 95 (obd1), so I'm not sure. Is there anyway I could find out whether it is or not? I'm sure if it was an obd2 it wouldn't be much of a problem cuz I have another 02 sensor lying around (i got another one thinking it was just a bad sensor) plus my cat has a place for the sensor (behind it), I just got a nut in it.

Thanks for the help

Anyone else have any advice? I was also thinking that it could be faulty wiring, or a mis-matched wiring from the harness to the ECU, perhaps...

Do a continuity test on all four of the wires from the 02 sensor to the correct pins on the ecu with the ecu unplugged. I had this same issue for a long time until i did this and found out i was missing the white wire. Hope that helps
