00 em1 starting problems, starter is good.
So long story short, new starter (works if you jump it to battrie.)
Battrie reads 12+ volts, starter hot wire read 12+ volts. When trying to crank car, the input wire reads only 5 volts. (Won't even turn the starter)
At ignition switch all wires read 12+ volts, but starter wire (but when you try to start the car, starter wire on ignition reads 10.5v) so how is it loosing 5 volts from ignition to starter?
And if you throw a jumper box, or jump the car, it starts.
Battrie is pretty new and was tested good.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about the bottem one? With black wire and pink wire? Because I'm not getting any volts on them.

Re: 00 em1 starting problems, starter is good.
So I ran to the store (on another car) came back and the civic started right up, the volts on ignition for the starter now read 12+
Problem is this is how it started, one day it was starting good on cool motor, if I drove to the store shut car off it would not start without a jump (starter didn't even make any noise) or I would have to let it sit for a while before it would start. So I got starter tested and it tested bad, but with new starter problem is still there, even tested with starter off my Integra to be sure. I'll swap out clutch switch off my parts car, any other idea's? I disconnected my alarm starter kill switch too (just to make sure my alarm wasent playing games with me.

Same thing today, why am I getting 10.5 volts for starter at ignition and 5 volts at the starter.
Can it be my ignition switch?
Can it be my ignition switch?

If jump starting the car helps it probably means your battery has crapped or lost a cell or 2. Recommend you perform tests by Ron AND goto autoparts store and have your battery load tested.

Battrie tested good, I replaced the clutch switch, I'll go check the rubber by it.
