Default 00 civic si check engine light.

I Put on a used but low mileage oem cat with o2 sensor, plugged it in to stock plug all good. But on a brand new dc sport full catback exaust. Everything went smooth only thing was my old cat and exaust was rusted togethr so I took it all off in one piece so I wasn't sure if there was a gasket that goes from the cat to the pipe. The cat going to the headers was nice and smooth didn't look like a gasket ever went there. Everything sounds great nice deep low sound. The once problem is the check engine light is now on. I did fire up the care when I had the exaust off just to see how loud it was but only for a few secs. So is there something I need to reset to take that light off and is there a gasket that goes from pipe to stock oem cat. The guy at the place I bough it from said it didn't come with one. Thx for any help.

Well I need to order a gasket on eBay because it doesn't have one right now On the 25 part. So do I need to order a 53mm on eBay? As far as the code goes I have no idea were I would pull that. It's a 2000 civic si.

Either stop by Autozone to get them to pull the code or do it manually here:

Just get the gasket for 99-00 Civic Si. I mean they're only 7-8 dollars from Honda you might as well get it there or Autozone/Advance are going to be the same range.

Is this the correct gasket for the 25 part?

I also have a dc sport header coming in the mail I'm guessing they dont come with a ring or gasket at the bottom end?I already ordered a new header gasket for them.

Pull the CEL codes, and then reset the ECU to see whether the code(s) repeat.
