Hi I am having some trouble with my car and have a question. What would cause my car to not accelerate around turns? It feels like the car is in nutral then once I straighten out it's ok..I am thinking it's my transmission but I hope not. .car also is leaking some oil in the air filter. .please help I don't want to take it to a shop if I don't have to. ..

There are no oil line in or around the air filter, how is it that oil is getting in your filter? You have factory air box or aftermarket intake pipe with a filter?
what filter are you using? Pre-oiled type or factory type?
Explain what do you mean you have no accel around turns. What is it doing or acting?
At full tank or less?
You need to be as specific as you can so others can help. Paint a vivid picture not just generalize. We cant see your car over the internet.

If it's automatic and the fluid is low, the fluid can slosh away from the pickup in a turn. This causes the transmission to disengage because there is no fluid pressure.
