00 civic ac evacuation question

Default 00 civic ac evacuation question

I was just wondering if I need to evacuate my a/c before attempting to swap my engine out. Thanks

Only if you need to open up the lines for the AC system.

nomally i disamble the ac system ,it makes more room to work on engine swap.

Then yes you need to recover the r134.

so is it still possible to take the engine out without disassembling the a/c and also i hear that honda engines usually should be pulled from the bottom but can u pull it from the top with no problem too or do i have to take off the transmission and some other parts to do so
