IM putting an OBD 1 b16 into my EG. The stock throttle cable wont work correct? How hard is it to replace it ? Is it just the part that connects to the TB and then goes across the intake manifold that needs to be replaced or the whole thing from inside the car to the throttle body? In EX do I need to wire up anything else, knock sensor? Do I have to fix the wires on the O2 sensor in an EX or is it fine already? Thanks!!

No you just need to replace the throttle cable bracket. Its really easy to replace just 2 10mm bolts. its the bracket that connects to the Intake Manifold. You just need to wire up a knock sensor unless you are using a Chipped P28ecu with the right program. No the ex already has a 4 wire o2 sensor so you do not need to tamper with that.

Good deal. I found that out today from a friend who did an ITR swap that all I need is the bracket.

Great write-up!
Just an FYI:
JDM motors are capable of being smog legal! It is a huge misconception on HT that JDM motors are impossible to make smog legal. I know several people (including myself) who have taken the proper steps to make our JDM engines smog legal.

To construct the proper left hand axle use 94 GSR left hand axle inner and outer joints on a 86-89 integra axle shaft.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Prelude shaft with Both prelude inner CVs work the best from my experience. Why use GSR inner when you have the prelude inner (that go to that trans) that come with the swap? When swapping the bearing assembly, you have to use the top snap ring from the old prelude axles for the bottom snap ring for the teg axle (note: this is for use with the prelude bearing assembly). Note: 90-93 teg axles are 1/4" longer than 86-89 teg.

Few things: I found 92-96 Prelude lower hose fits better.
-You can reuse your stock civic throttle cable, you just have to place the throttle bracket right (bolt it in with one bolt, etc)
-If you reuse your civic clutch slave cyl., it will be held in by one bolt, it will work perfect thou. You need to change it to the prelude one to have it bolt in right. You have to bend the line with either one.
-You do not need "custom" work to make A/C work. All you need is to buy HCP A/C mount.

Damn turbogixxer is a walking bank of Data
Im also wondering why he didnt mention Hcp mounts. I like them
Also when you use the civic clutch slave cyl you can drill out the second hole so it will bolt up to the h22 tranny. this doesnt have to be done but its possible.
Air condition bracket # from Hcp is "EG-22 AC Bracket"
A chip program for P28 to run h22 can be purchased from newman here on HT.
Thats all i can think of for now.

nice write up but to clarify this i have a eg hatch with a b16a 92-95(sir2) not 88-91(sir) i should i still use 94-up integra linkage right cause i have an si linkage and it sucks
i have a '92 civic cx hatch. i know the motor in it is a 1.5 but i don't know what model the motor is. i don't know what type of transmission is in it. just a manual. anyway, the car burns oil, and instead of having the stock 70 horse motor rebuilt. i'm thinking about swapping it. what options do i have? i have looked at a d15b. is that a good idea? where is the best place to get a motor. what type of problems might i run into? i need all the best advice i can get. thanks so much.

If I wanted a 92-95 SiR-II front clip into my EG, would I need any radiator hoses, or anything else? I believe I can replace almost everything with the supplies that come with the clip correct?
