So, i came across a 92 Integra Ls motor, tranny, harness, ecu, axles, you name it, Everything out of the car. I'm gonna be swapping it into my 95 Eg. I've done a lot of searching and reading, but i wanted to make sure i have all of my information correct...

what i can use:
~B18 motor and transmission
~Stock Ls axles
~Stock Ls harness
~Stock Ls Dist.
~Stock Ls Injectors
~Stock Ls ecu

what i need:
~I know can use stock civic and integra mounts, but what combination do i need?
~what shift linkage do i/can i use?
~i know i'll either need a cable to hydrolic conversion mount, or else a hydrolic tranny
~i know i need differant rad. hoses

Can anyone help me with the info im missing? or point me in the right direction...

Great write up by the way!

Is there something similar for the 99-00 Si? And what if it has a turbo on it, would it still work?

Because you most likely got the Del Sol ( SOHC) lower Radiator hose.. For some reason some parts store still have the Del Sol Vtec as a D16z6.. Be sure that it is a radiator hose for the b16a3

I just did a swap on my 2000 civic ex coupe with a 1999-2000 B18B. I used a b16a tranny, alternator, and shifter linkage. I don't think we rewired anything because everything seem to fit. I'm also using a chipped p28 wit a burnt map from a p75. I'm also using my stock civic throttle cable, but the bracket was kind of loose so we screwed in some bolts, so it wouldn't move. Now my question is am I missing anything? because after the swap the car is running really rich, making the car bog? Do I need to rewire something? This has been happening for 4 months now...and haven't figured it out yet. I've been driving it for 3 months now and getting 14mpg. which really sucks.

K I see the stuff needed to retain a/c in the B18B swap into an eg but what about retaining the power steering???? all the other post I have looked at have mixed information...the only one that looks to be consitant through out the whole thing is about how to retain power steering in an ek instead of eg....

So what do I need to retain power steering in a 94 EX with a 97 ls swap? can I reuse the d16z6 power steering pump or do i need the ls pump? What brackets do I use?

I have heard before that all 92-95 civics in Canada came prewired for VTEC. not sure if this is true or not but i've heard it from more than one source.

JDMlyfestyle thanks for posting up this info. I have a 93 Del Sol Si D16z6 OBDI and will be swapping in a GSR engine when I amass the required funds for the swap. This info is very helpful and will be very useful. Quick question are the GSR engines OBDIIA or B and what adapter would i use for my ecu OBD2A-1, OBD2A-2B, OBD2B-1, OBD2B-2A?

Ok I'm kinda confused.
So first off-94 sol b16a jdm swap, w/ ys1 cable 5speed trans.
What axles do I use? I used the 90 integra axle for the passenger side, it fits fine, went to do the drivers side and the axle is just a touch to long. I got it in the car and all bolted up. But when I turn the axle the while drivers side suspension hops up and down. I drove it and it shakes like a paint mixer. I thought bad axle replaced it and I won't drive it but turn it by hand and same thing. It even moves the motor bout half inch. So anyone know where to go from here?
Thanks!!!

swapping a B18b into my '96 Civic EX, trying to figure out if the alternator from the Y8 will work or if I need to switch to a B-series alternator?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Sam
