I'm using a skunk2 double bend short shifter with the skunk2 ****. Awesome combo.
The double bend is better cause it makes the shifter **** closer to you. Don't have to reach as far to shift into gears. Especially fifth gear.

I'm running an integra dual bend shifter on my car as well...problem is though that with the d-series engines you have to bend the linkage out to make it fit. I'm gonna be trading with a friend for a d-series DC shifter soon with ES bushings...i'll let you all know how it is.

That's funny! I don't like it when things **** close to me.
I have a DC single bend with MOMO ****. It does just fine and as long as you aren't stupid you won't going to ruin anything in your tranny.

Re: What short shifter you all using (OnePointFive)
evasive motorsports steel short shifter $35 shipped
energy suspension shifter stablizer bushings $13 shipped
i'm sick of hearing that short shifters damage synchros... if you slam your car in gear, with any type of shifter, it will cause damage to the synchros... don't drive like your at the track, if you aren't at the track, and your synchros will be fine...

i was gonna change out my APC short shifter for this....height wise they're the same thing and i too enjoyed my synchs.....this with some $15 shifter bushings should make for a great ride
on another note, did anyone notice you can't use your stock bearings with the GSR shifter? how did you guys remedy this....does the GSR shifter bearings fit into the EG linkage where the bolt goes through?

shifters do not ruin your synchros, drivers do.
Edit: I have been using my dc s.s for over 2 years with out any problems.

Edelbrock shifter and ****, hard anodized!
I had carbon coated synchros put in my tranny to handle quick shifts, say goodbye to gear grinds! I can't shift fast enough now to be able to grind.
edit: also have the energy suspension bushing kit!
