Mine never faded; I rocked them for about 6 months before replacing them with bulbs that were actually amber.

Re: [FAQ] DIY How-To: Install Civic 92-95 Amber/Red Dash Lighting
Does anyone happen to know the oem part#'s for the #24 bulbs and the #74? Im trying to replace them in my 95ex cluster and the site diagrams along with the helms manual give somewhat of a vague description. For the #24's helms says its a 3w and when i go on a site like slhonda or hondpartsdeals i dont see a 3w. Thanks

why would you want the oem part number? are you trying to get the exact ones from honda?

LOL! that's alittle too much wouldn't you say. not to mention, the dealer is alittle too pricey for bulbs. i once had a corner light go out, i thought it was the socket. so i went to the dealer picked up a new socket, turned out it was the bulb. being that i was already there with stuff hanging out of my car i picked up a new bulb. it turned out to be almost $6 just for one bulb. i could have paid $7 for 2 of them at the parts store. what a rip off.

That is very true, they are pricey. I was just going to purchase a few so I could put them in the cluster I just purchased. I am going to sell it back and make money so it will be ok in the end. Maybe I'll just pick up some LEDs for my cluster and some OEM for the one im selling. I wish Helms gave p/n's on its diagrams

Thanks, I had that same diagram on hondapartsdeals. In my helms it shows "3w" for the bulbs I need (#24's I believe with the brown base OEM), but then i look at the diagrams and all i see is "12v1.4W".
