yep, just choose your shade of blue.

The bulb is connected to the grey thing. Refer to the writeup on how to take it out.

Nice job and good write up on the on the DIY. I've seen the 96-98 post as well and always wondered about the differences for 99-00.

I have seen this done over and over again on just about every generation civic/integra..
I've even tried it myself on my own 00 ex..

The only problem I have is they while fade and look like **** in the future..
Can't you go out and buy the climate bulbs for a em1 si and put them in and get the ever so desired si amber glow? Also can't you buy the bulbs from a em1 si cluster and swap them into your ex cluster for the same look? I'm not sure about the cluster because I've never owned a si cluster and I dunno how the bulb layout is.. but I saw someone say they just swapped the condoms? Can anyone confirm this with the cluster and the climate control? Also anyone have an idea on the total pricing for these bulbs from honda?

You could probably find the bulbs from an Si, i'd look in a junkyard before i bought some new. Not sure about the bulb layout either, you would think it would be close or the same.

Buying new bulbs would cost a lotta money. I guess the ones behind the CC ***** were like $5.11 a piece. I had to buy new ones cause im an idiot and broke both of them. If you had to buy them all, i think youd be looking at over $20.

i think those might be too bright. i would rather have a smooth amber, not a homing beacon for a cluster

Well I'm actually thinking about picking some up because it seems like the bulbs in my crx are just to weak, also paint does not last so this would be a permanent fix.

http://autolumination.com/74.htm sells incandesent & LED bulbs. I wasn't able to find any #24 LED's so I just ordered incandesent from there. I already have painted bulbs, but I wanted to see if these would look more even.

the darker color one will probably work better and show up more amber. the lighter color might be too light. i would have to see both of them installed to make a good judgment.

Also would like to see pics but after reading the thing in clubsi it seems like to much of a hassle, the guy had to make a wiring harness and he actually used 40 led bulbs.

Oh you will see them , actually I'm gonna buy the red and amber bulb and test them out in my crx, I'll get the pics when I install them.

I just ordred 4 #74's & 6 #24's for like $12 shipped. I got red, it's comperable in price to buying testor's paint + new bulbs, so it's worth a shot. I already have painted ones, so I'd really like to see which is better.

I just dunno about this.. it looks alright but i think it also looks like trash.. some of the cluster isn't lit up and you can't see the needles..
I'm sick of my ex white glow, I'm looking for that perfect amber...

I've tried these bulbs before.. atleast the the light orange ones.. they come up more yellow/orange kinda like the BMW clusters.. I would really like to see the reddish ones installed... I think it will be a nice amber..

Bump for this thread don't let it die like all of the other cluster threads...

Well I'm gonna try both and get pics, hopefully I figure my camera out by then. Anyways I'm not sure if the crx uses different bulbs or the setup is different but the bulbs seem weaker.
