This guy just decided, "Eh I don't want to put the LS motor into your car."? I would of found the nearest exhaust and shoved it down his throat! He probably thought, "If I put this motor in this guy's car, my car won't be the fastest anymore *SNIFF* " Tell the dude to go sit on a piston and rotate!

I thought you had a post that said you dropped in your LS.
Is this a new LS? Do the swap yourself. It will save you cash.
And you two will become one in eternal bliss.

In your sig, it says you have a 94 ITR LS motor. Does ITR supposed to mean integra? Are you aware that ITR means Integra Type R? Just thought Id let you know,
Anyway,
Do you already have everything for the swap? You just need someone to insall it?
If so, you shouldnt have any problem finding a shop to drop it in. If no shops are available, head down to your local Honda or Acura dealership and see if one of the mechanics would be interested in some side work. The swap is quite simple. No wiring changes, just straight bolt in. Easily finished in a day.

Too bad you didnt live closer to Utah, I could help you out.

Yes, you do need the tranny. But, your car has a hydraulic transmission, same as the integra, so no kit will be needed. It is a complete bolt in. You wont have to change a single wire! I have this exact swap in my hatch right now.
You just need to make sure you have everything. You need of course, Engine, tranny, axels, ecu, engine wiring harness, mounts, shift linkage(if you can, get the integra shifter too, it feels soooo much better than the civic one, but the civic shifter can be used). Youre gonna need radiator hoses and throttle cable from the integra, engine oil, tranny oil, and coolant.
Make sure your engine is complete. Throttle body, exhaust manifold, distributor, plugs and wires, alternator(you may need belts), clutch and flywheel.
If you have everything for the swap on hand and have the wiring harness on the engine, with engine and tranny assembled, we're talking about a 5 or 6 hour job, max. It may take a little longer if its your first time. Having the right tools and some experience will make all the difference in the world.

good luck with your swap.

simple 98%, of b-series motor parts are not interchanble with d-series motor parts, parts which can't be reused when doing the swap to b-series:
Motor (dohhh)
tranny
axles
header
flywheel/clutch
shift linkage
alternator
distributor

parts you can sometimes mix:
various sensors
fuel injectors
wiring harness
ecu

also 88-91 civic/crx are equivalent to 90-3 integra, in engine electronics(90-1 only), cable trannies, suspension and many more things

92-5 civic is equal to 94-01 integra as far as suspension, trannies, electronics (92-5 integras), motors

remember that 90-3 integra trannies are cable, 94-01 are hydraulic
88-91 civic trannies are cable and 92-00 civics are hydraulic

um if the tranny is the same why do i need the one from the integra ?
They are both hydraulic(meaning, you wont need a conversion kit to swap the new one in), but Sohc trannys wont fit on dohc blocks.

Just a suggestion is next time you are ready to do such a major mod, do some more research on it and make sure you have everything you need for a swap. If you're letting a shop do the swap, make sure you get some references to see if the shop is trustworthy and will do clean work. Look at how much time you've wasted now by not having a car to drive...good luck on the final outcome.
