*Newbie* Who makes a good-quiet exhaust for a 6th gen HB????
I want to get a quiet exhaust for my 6th Gen civic HB. I dont want a cheap exhaust like obx, toucan, apc, a1 racing. Please help me out!!!!!

either ITR OEM.. CTR stock exhaust.. or actual aftermarket would be the old RSR Exhausts.. which are not imported anymore to the US =P .. hmm the Apexi WS aren't to loud.. and then the mugen after that.. anything else is just to loud .. unless u get a big *** resonator =P

a used stock itr, si, or ctr exhaust would be quiet and still be much better than the stock hatch exhaust. plus u should be able to find one pretty cheap. u will have to have the itr or si exhaust modded to fit but its no biggy. i'm getting ready to put an si exhaust on my 99 cx hatch to replace my greddy pe (its too damn loud).

i wish i kept my stock exhaust...
i have a apex n1 w/ 2.5" piping and carsound cat (the honeycomb inside flew out so its basically a test pipe) and my car is too ******* loud.. i've gotten 3 tickets for it and i want to put a stock muffler on it but i dunno how because i got a jdm header

The new line of DC sports exhaust are very quiet. Not sure of the exact name but I have heard it personally on a 6th gen. Also, those comptech exhaust I heard are quiet. That I have not heard. Those Apexi WS were def. quiet. Didnt know they discontinued them

F-it. Just run open header.
With the stock ITR exhaust... if I use just the axleback, how well will it fit? Bolt up?minor welding? or run totally new piping and just use the muffler?

To my knowledge, the Apex-i WS exhaust is not disco'd. I just got one for my EG hatch...unless it was just part of the stock remaining?
I waited about 3 months though...could be that Apex-i USA had to get it from Japan?...I dunno. Aside from that, they're nice and quiet and awesomely priced. Very good purchase.
