I'm looking into organizing a hybrid meet in VA and well i figure there's enough of us in this forum alone to do it so someone give me some idea's and see if we can't have some hybrid fun...

i wasn't really into the street race thing either but i'd be down with whatever... i mean i know whatever we do i want it to be pretty big and in a central location for all of va because i'm in VERY SOUTHERN va and i know most of u are in nova soo we need some ppl to help organize this...i say we get merrit to do it...she seems to know whats goin on....maybe at a campus somewhere or something i dunno jsut throwing idea's out

Well it's Central Virginia...

Seriously though, it is the capital. we have some big parking lots. Maybe we could get one of the VCU parking lots or the Coliseum or a Mall.

Or maybe Charlottesville is better? I'm trying to think what will be the most central.

well if we're doing it in richmond the hybriders from richmond would have to arrange alotta ****..u wanna do that ? and i dunno about any other day than a weekend..i was thinkin late jan or early feb..i'd like to plan this out well and have my car done when we do it...ya know?

I'm willing to take on some responsibility. It's just that I've never organized a meet. I suppose I have to find a big parking lot and get permission to use it. then do some advertising of some sort, flyers and web and stuff.

As long as it doesn't take a lot of cash. I don't have lots of money. ooh I could find sponsors. I can do that.

I'll start doing research, let's keep collecting peeps.

I'm willing to help out as much as possible...once you get past southpark mall in petersburg tho i'm no help...i thinik that'd be a good location but we'd have to get agreement with the northern ppl...

ohhh well if urlooking fo a place to meet potomac mills mall in woodbridge va.....huge, i mean huge mall and more empty parking than u can imagine...especialy near vans skatepark which is like 300 feet from quality tire......I vote potomac mills

there ant no organizing...evrone just show up in the parking lot and chill...were not going o get arrested or anyhing, and if worst comes to worst and we gt kicked out there is 50 other huge parking lots that we can go to

looks like most people don't want to go further than half an hour or an hour, cept you frostee. I would, but I really think Richmond is a good location. I know how far you are, I knew some peeps in Danville, 'slike 2 and a half hours from here.

But I think we wanna do this up right, right? like get some organization behind it, some sponsors, some food, permission to be somewhere rather than just showing up, right?

I'm willing to go north or south. and I'll work on organizing it too. we just need to see what the interest is.


Oh, and once you make it to Southpark you're like 20 minutes from Richmond. Just FYI.

I personaly dont think we need any sponsors, permission an if we want fod hit up micky d's, u guys are putting to much thaught into this......i know dragII(Antonio) would be down with a woodbridge meet, woodbridge be rollin deep, i say we just have a huge honda meet...not just hybrid

oh i know where richmond is i go there probably twice a week on drug runs..i mean uhh..hahah...yeah i'm willin to drive anywhere if its promising enough... and yeah i'm down with the more organized barabus version....i do like the idea of sponsors and what not maybe even i duno what i'm thinkin really i just wanted it to be kinda big ..maybe i'm just thinkin too big tho...i dunno...but if we have food and sponsors its more than a meet..its more like an event...i dunno tho..i need ideas

yeah it would be more than an event. Lemme talk to my two Honda friends here in Richmond and see what we can bring together.

Let's just let it grow on it's own. I'll start the ball rolling and we'll see what it turns into.

I'm thinking shops would be sponsors, or at least be present. I know some people at a couple shops in town and they know people at most of the rest of the shops in town. Jesse knows more people in the local scene than I do, maybe together we can save the world. I mean organize a meet...
