Default ***'93 EG Power Window Conversion....Tech Question***

I did a search and found limited info on this conversion. My question is: Will the power window system from the '94 - 01 Integra fit in '93 EG hatch back?

I know that the Del Sol stuff will fit in either an EG or DC2. I'm looking into buying the Del Sol parts from another H-T member, but I already have the Integra parts. Need to find out soon, so I can decide what to do.

I went with a aftermarket SPAL kit, this baby works great. I can show you pics of the switches later if you want.

Also I believe you can get these kits on ebay.

you can even get a japanese kit (oh sorry i mean JDM) and convert it to fit properly on the correct locations on a US car, you can get a jdm kit on ebay for like 150 complete. i know i have it on my car. you will also need the door panels too.

I also suggest using an EX kit, rather than trying to make an Integra system fit. It looks like a bitch to wire up, luckily my friend at the time was an alarm installer, and really good with that stuff. I don't think I could have done it myself w/out a manual or a guide.

No. You might be able to adapt some things such as the wiring or the regulator but I doubt if its worth the effort. You can find all the parts you need off a wreaked EX or LX for around $300 to $400 if you shop around. New all the parts would total more than $700 unless you have some amazing Honda dealer hook up.

Thanks for the info guys. Much appreciated.

I was planning on using my ITR door panels on the EG. That will simplify the wiring problem. I'll just need to add the power window relay to the EG fuse box. Any comments or suggestions.

I did that on my old 95 coupe. I went to the local junkyard and pick up the door panels, motor/regultor, and the wires for $250. It was a bolt on.

Did you use the ITR regulators and door panels, or parts from another Honda. Details please...

I have had this kit for a while and havent had any problems. I also have the auto up function with my alarm and it never messes up.

Because we get dicked on junk yard prices back here in the East. Thats just the way it is. Feel my pain dude

A good chunk of that cost was new door panels from the dealer though. Worth the expense.

Does anyone have any pics of diagrams of doing this conversion?

Would be VERY VERY much appreciated...

Ive done an EG3 breeze to EG6 SiR conversion, and now i want to do the power windows. The car should be coming out of the workshop in a couple days so i cant verify it yet, but im pretty sure it will have the full wiring loom right? So i just need to aquire the parts needed (door trims, regulators, switches, etc) and hook it up?

Like i said, any help/diagrams/advice etc would be very very deeply appreciated..

thanks all

Maybe if you offered an opinion that differed slightly from the original post or at least contained an ounce of originality your reply would be worthwhile.... but until that point its quite hypocritical to jump on others for something that your just as guilty of doing. And now that I'm looking at his posts he too is searching for information on the conversion.

As for the original question. If you're using integra door panels, then yes you can use the 94-01 power windows. The wiring will be a little tricky but won't be too hard to figure out once you get in there.
