you're missing a H on your type s__(blink)___??!!!
Prelude never made a type S ...only... type SH
So tell your friend to get type SH or the regular H22 VTEC DC!!
He have the DOHC 2.2 vtec right!!

ya your a dumbass , there is no difference in motors between the prelude and the prelude sh
and the jdm type S prelude has a more powerfull motor

Re: *** eg with H22 which header *** (EGkwazhimoto)
i recomend, If you have the money...1)SMSP $1200?, 2)Hytech $1300, 3) AN-R or Headertech $600-1000 depending on options......DC is cheap but won't really gain you much..........good luck.......John...........BTW I bought an AN-R header, was 780 shipped h22 header with street collector and stainless...

well i know that, header's differ from motor to motor, but in the b series challenge, the DC 4-1 was the best bang for your buck, its not a waste of money at all. it gained more then all of the headers except 2 or 3 i think down low and the top end was the only i difference. search for titian motor sports ultimate header test int he NA forum.
AGAIN im just infuring that if a company builds a header for one motor and you see certian gains then with the same type of header on a different motor you should see similar gains
now i know this isn't true but it is something to go off of

Re: *** eg with H22 which header *** (slammed_93_hatch)
heh, done read the titan test a while back, very impressive, BUT was'nt that a dc jdm w/ 2.5 in collector?.....I don't think they have an option like that for the h22 unless you wanted to modify it yourself.......and i'm not trying to rag on dc, DC truly does have great bang for the buck, hell my h22 made 185whp with a dc header. he asked for a recomendation, I gave it......John

Re: *** eg with H22 which header *** (h22John)
We made 13 hp and 9 ft-lbs over DC Sports on a H22 with only i,h,e and VAFC. Another customer made 17 hp and 12 ft-lbs over a stock manifold with a custom 2.5" collector. I think we offer a very nice bang for the buck.

Totally agree, I just went with an AN-R because a friend of mine has an AN-R and is very happy with it. Plus it was sooooo damn hard to decide with all these great headers coming out.......BTW headertech is great bang for the buck too.. John

I'd go w/ imagine or an-r if you have a limited budget and dtr if you are a baller.
