Does any1 know if these seats bolt right into EK's?
Or will i need EK Rails?

You have to finagle the rails somehow. But besides that, theyll work. I'm sure theres a diy out there.

also, which ones would u guys go with. im selling my recaros for any of these 2 plus cash! AP2's are in better condition IMO i just dont like that they dont have Mesh





or a little more worn AP1's!

I prefer the styling of the AP1 ones. I have them in my 99 EX, in black.

Basically you have to disassemble both seats.

You use the CIVIC seat pan, with the S2000 foam. That way the rails bolt to the pan. This way, you have the s2000 seats on the civic rails.

One important note is that you NEED dx or non adjustable seats. In other words, the EM1 for instance had two adjustment *****. This leads to extra mechanical items in the seat pan and causes the S2000 foam to seat VERY awkwardly, it does NOT fit correctly. So make sure you get dx or whatever seats that don't have the multiple adjustment *****, then you will see it fits like a glove.

yeah i personally like the AP1 style too but as u can see in the pic, the driver side has some wear in the leather which makes me wanna pick the AP2's instead.

AP2 seats. The lack of mesh provides better support for your head, especially at higher speeds. Plus, they're in much cleaner condition. No brainer.

and I think those AP2's are from about 08-09.

You have to swap the seat pan from 96-00 civic seats onto the s2000 seat bottoms. Then it will use civic frame rail and bolt right in.

There's a DIY for the integra pan swap...it's the same concept...teg pans and rails are almost exactly the same with a minor spacing difference on the inside rear bolt hole and the slider wire but that's a completely different matter...I'll let you know if I find a better write-up.

Word of advice...DONT CHEAP OUT and do some half *** stuff where only 3 holes line up...it's unsafe...and depending on how well the cops in your area know cars...you can get a ticket...or if you get in a wreck insurance can deny coverage. Also, buy or rent some hog-ring pliers...they're tough as hell and you will probably tear your hand up good if you try using regular pliers. It saves ALOT of time.

well im trying to get as much money for some wheels so ill buy recaros sometime down the road. either way the recaros arent bolting up good since they have DC5 Rails

BTW, I find it easiest to use zip ties to secure the leather back to the pad / foam / pan.
