*****STOLEN CAR IN CRANFORD, NJ**********
This might not be the rigth place to post this up, but the son of a friend of mine got his car stolen. He lives in Cranford. From what I know the car is a 96 Civic and the color is Yellow. If anyone has any info on about this car or has at least seen the shell please PM me or shoot me an e-mail. The car was stolen right from his house in Cranford, NJ. From what I understand the car had come out of the shop Friday night and was stolen Tuesday night. Sometime after 1am. I'm not what else to put on this thread, but I don't think there's that many '96 Civic Coupes in Yellow rolling around NJ. So if anyone has seen this car please let me know. If he could at least recover the shell he would be more than grateful.
Thanks
Thanks

It's not that close, but it isn't all that far, but thanks for the advice. Do you happen to know what street it's on.
Thanks

It's very close to the Newark Police station. Newark is very strict with their savage yards. They won't even let you in without documentation from the police station, even with that, only one person is usually allowed in (with no cameras).
You have to go to the police station first with a copy of your registration, title, and insurance. If you don't have those (because they were in the stolen car, then you have to call them and ask). They will give you a police report and a release form, which you take to the correct salvage yard. Then you can go see the car IF it is even there.
Good luck.
It's a pain in the ***, make sure you know it was recovered first before going there. If you do go there, go early in the morning when it opens. After noon time, expect to wait at least 3 hours in line.

Thanks fellas. I'm not far from Newark @all. I don't think the car has been recovered as of yet and it probably won't be either. Feel bad for my friend's son because he only had the car for like three days.

Car is most likely in Newark, Elizabeth, or Irvington...Thats the Bermuda Triangle of civics and integras...What gets stolen and ends up in those 3 cities really never has a chance of being recovered intact...
