Default $2k suspension upgrade worth it?

Rear sway bar & LCA's for integra $100
Strut tower bar from integra $20
Rear Disk brakes from integra $350
New Rotors $150
Springs and struts $600
Faulken Aziens 205/50/15 $300
Wheels $500

Is this worth it for my 93 ex civic? Those that have sunk this kind of money into their Civic's, does it improve the car to where its in the higher league of cars?

well dude, all those prices you posted are actually very affordable, it's only when you add it all up that it turns into a "2k suspension upgrade"

I'd say ditch the rear disk conversion and save urself some money, personally I wouldn't upgrade the rear brakes if I wasn't going to upgrade the fronts too(i mean bigger/better not just new rotors).

and it all depends on what you want out of the car. Compared to how they handle in stock form.. man it's a world of difference!

comparing a fairly highly modified economy car to a much more expensive STOCK car is waayyy to vague to try to sort out, imo.

honestly, those are some good upgrades, but it all depends on what you are doing with the car? are you planning to take the car out to the track? or is this a daily driver? Its only worth it if you're going to put some use to it..no need to do the conversion if you're only gonna drive on the streets, and the azenis are high-wear tires which wont last as long but gives you great grip. do you mind spending more money on tires 15k miles down the road? if not, then save yourself a couple bucks and buy some ziex's or some other rubber.

other things such as wear and tire items like rotors are needed for maintenance..so buy them when you need them!

You have maybe 800 in suspension conversions.... not upgrades, all together looks like a solid package - Same things I have done to my hatch - more than worth it though....

I did this write up about suspension conversions for EG. Check the "gallery.andale" link for really good prices on rear brake swap. I love my rear disc conversion. I think you will be a little more interested when you find out you can get the rear disc swap w/ rotors & pads for less than you think...

the **** really can add up fast.

just spend the money you spend on GOOD **** the first time, then in the long run you will end up spending more.

rear disk swap 250
front 100
new pads 100
new rotor's 50
new calipers 100
SS brake lines 120
comptech rear sway bar 400
LCA MAX 50
poly bushings $$

no need to do the rear brakes. the front dose most of the braking. i would upgrade the fronts first. and get a bigger brake booster.
