Default $2800 for GSR swap w/29k a good deal?

Complete swap. Coming out of a wrecked car. Is $2800 a good deal for it?

As long as the car is wrecked from behind then yea.

Also as long as the owner has the papers for the car. But 2800 is a great deal.

Its from an insurance auction. I saw pics of the car, and the odometer. I could buy the whole car, but its un-titleable. 100% startup guarantee he says.

2800 would is a pretty good price... Not a steal but definately not payin too much... See the thing is.. you'd be better off buying the car and parting all of out...

I thought about doing that, but i dunno what people would buy off of it. I know it has full black leather interior and whatnot.

Get the car. I like the black leather better than civic cloth seats.

you can part out the interior and engine pieces and still sell the shell after!

You can pay for the swap by buying the whole car and parting it.

Its wrecked. Un-titleable. I could sell the body pieces themselves, brakes, suspension. Thats about it.

don't forget about the interior, cluster, seats, etc.... you'd be suprised what people would ask for if you made a "parting out GSR - no engine" thread... especially if it only has 29,xxx miles on it

I can see at least $2500 based on:
Seats(Front and Rear)
Dash
Wheels
AC
SRS
Hood
Bumper
Fenders
Brakes
Suspension

Well, if it was hit in the front, then you should re-examine your decision, if hit in the rear, the whole front end should be salvageable

I bet you could definetely make close to a 1000 bucks off of it. 29k miles, so it's probly got nice carpet, really nice leathers, door panels, nice headliner, maybe steering wheel...unless airbags went off, center console, mirrors, possibly doors, bumpers, side skirts, hood...or trunk, brakes, suspension pieces, windshield (probly 100 bucks right there if it's not cracked), you could sell pretty much everything on that car, and you'd be surprised how much stupid pieces go for because nobody has them.

Good Luck, sounds like a good deal if you get it.

Ok, i found out that it was in a light collision on the front right driver side.
It has a rebuilt title. The hood, bumper, and driver side fender need to be replaced. I think the core support MIGHT be bent, im not too sure. The doors, windshield, and everything from that back are salvagable.

SO, should i still look into buying this thing?
They guarantee the car to be running, since it was in a light collision.
