Is $208 a good price to change a thermostat and a fan switch?
I could learn how to do this but Im going on a road trip and I dont want my car to get hot. My car was previously getting hot and I took it to the Honda center near me under warranty and they said it was a lazy thermo and fan switch. It was not under my warranty so they cant fix it. What should I do?

fan switch or thermoswitch is on the thermostat housing so replace that while you're replacing the thermostat.

well with about $35-$40 in parts and it should take no more than an hour to complete the job id says that kind of a rip!? but then again im not sure on the price of a fan switch bit it couldnt be more than about $25....i could see payin like $130-$140...but i think $208 a little steep....

from King motorsports site (overpriced of course) Mugen thermoswitch: $45, Mugen thermostat: $69.
well, i bought a low temperature thermostat (170 degrees fahrenheit) at a local autoparts store for about $30 and i purchased the Mugen thermoswitch from King motorsports and this combination with the fluidyne seems to work well, based from the factory temp. gauge.
