Sentra SE-"R" Spec V's are a joke. If you're running a stock B16 on an "EG" it should be no problem. Take it to the track.

What should i do with the 1500. I'm asking specifically you because you're the only one that seems to care about my question. You know why does every body have to critisize? Whatever. Thank you very much for your honest opinion. But again...what to do with that 1500?

without getting very serious its hard to spend exactly 1500....i mean do the bolt ons obviously....exhaust, headers, intake, maybe intake manifold, but if you get picky like into cam gears and that kinda junk youll blow a lota money for not to much gain. To get serious you can look into a mild boost, i am guessing you want the motor to last a while so look into a t3 super 60 on like 6 psi, itl be difficult to do it right on that price, but its a option.

cams springs and retainers will run him probably close to a grand alone....if he has it done properly and tuned for it, and that will net him very few ponies for that $$$

SER Spec-Vs are the biggest POS ripoff "performance" car you can buy. Period. If you take the time to research about them you will find this to be 100% true. Thier trannys are complete ****, the motors arent much better and everything else is just **** made to look nice. Im not just bandwagoning either, my friend had an 03 and his tranny went out, after he got a new one his motor blew 2 weeks later. It was partly his fault for modifying it (I/H/E...) but any other motor could have lasted longer. Dont waste your money, if you want a Nissan get a 240.

He didn't say he was gonna get a SpecV he was asking if he could beat one with confidence. I also disagree with you saying that POSs b/c I have a buddy runnin' 15 pounds of boost on a stock bottom end with a good SAFC hack without any problems.
For the OP, I would boost it. It will be the best money you've ever spent and you can find a used GReddy turbo kit for around $1500 with everything you'll ever need!!!!!!!

240sx's are good, but so is a Spec-V. They are pretty quick, cheap, and reliable. Any car from the Japanese big three (Nissan, Honda, Toyota) are very reliable cars. My friend has a Spec-V that he races all the time since 03, and he has never had any problems with it.

lol SE-R ahahaha. I took one in my 93 ls with 3 people in my car and 2 in his we bother just had cold air intakes. They are jokes a shitty step up to the Si. But in regards to your question, if you got no smog in your area I would get one of those turbo kits on eBay they are like $750-$900 my friend has used many of those on his hatches and got into the mid 11's on B20 Vtec's. but if youre worried about cops. just do the bolt on magic and a good set of cams that should keep you happy for a while, plus all motor is more reliable. less to worry about

I'm not saying Spec-Vs are the fastest cars ever made. I said they are quick for what they are. How bad did you beat the Sentra? I'm sure it wasn't by a whole lot. Which means with a motor swap, you barely beat him. So compared to a D16, the VQ25 is badass.
