I had a 1997 Camry for the past four years as my first car. Last week, I started to have trouble with my transmission. I guess that's expected at almost 150,000 miles.

Parentals weren't happy about fixing a 14 year old car, so they surprised me with saying they would pay for getting a newer car

Found a 2007 gray Civic coupe EX with the 5-speed locally, certified with warranty for $13,500. Traded in my car (for a whoopin $1200... which sucks because I just put in $140 for new rotors and pads last month, along with a new battery 3 months ago...)

I'm really excited. First time with a stick (learned on my Dad's Audi A4 when I had my permit) and I feel that it is peppier than the Audi was and more forgiving on the clutch.
