I have a new 2007 civic that is 8 months old and already showing surface rust. I oringally noticed it within a month of purchase. It is occuring on the 3 out of the 4 interior door frames (when you open them up). Dealership claims this is "normal" and will not start any warrenty claims until it becomes more "serious" . Until then, I am advised to wipe it off. Since then, it has return after each "wipe off" and has appeared on the exterior in a few spots. How long until it is serious? Atleast I have 5 years to file a claim.

Anyone else experiencing rusting issues?
