I like the Si badge also, but this hobby is all about being different. To some people the Si emblem is a vanity thing. For example "I want people to KNOW that It's an Si." I know it's an Si and that's all that really matters.
Even Honda enthusiast who have seen this in person have made remarks such as "that's clean," "I like that, it's a nice touch," "what kind of car is that, I didn't know the Si came in 4 door."
I originally removed all the emblems on the car to lower the profile of the vehicle. I was tired of all the wannabes with an ebay exhaust revving their engines at me at stop lights. The other reason was for the people who decided they wanted a piece thinking this was the R18 equipped civic.
I wanted to get the Honda 2.0 emblem, but I couldn't bring myself to paint it black especially considering the price. I view this kind of like the people who view the people who modify the Mugen civic with non original parts. Instead of defacing a $50+ red 2.0 badge why not deface the VW unit. I was also concerned with some punk *** high school kid who cant afford one of his own stealing it. I don't know about you but $20 to replace is better that almost $60. This looks clean and goes with my theme. I like it and that's all that matters.
Besides only 2 out of 100 people who commented didn't like it, I'd say you guys are in the very small minority group.

Re: Post a pic of your 2006+ civic (Kidnkorner)
I'm not hatin, I just think the si badge is nicer, just an opinion no hate . 4 door si's are the **** though, I love mine. I would like to do a few touches to make mine different, mainly wheels, coil overs, a catback and the jdm honda badges, but as of now I like the way it looks and rides so, I'll let it be until I get that supar mod craving again.
