new-to-me radio - the code retrieval tool isn't giving me the right code
current car is a 2012 Honda Civic LX Sedan
donor car was a 2012 Honda Civic sedan (trim level is unknown)
So I bought a new-to-me civic radio that that had the bluetooth capability and using the site , https://radio-navicode.honda.com/, is not giving me codes that are working.
The serial number of the radio is : CLAJHD240116575
The 8 digit serial number on the screen (when using the 1+ 6 and On trick) is: 40116575
The donor car's vin number is: 19XFB2F89CE385101
using the 8 digit number I get the following codes:
14463
13616
14443
65423
12352
using the full serial number on the radio I get
42463
3471B ( I don't see how to enter a B)
of the 6 all-number codes, none work.
I am not sure taking it to the dealer is going to get me any better results if they use the same site.
Thoughts?
