Didnt Honda have a service bulletin for that problem. The dealership was replacing the tensioner bolt and re-routing the belt in order to take off some stress. The TSB is 09-007. Call the dealership give them the VIN number if that bulletin applies tow the car over and have them fix it.

Another thing you might look for (for future reference).....usually the serpentine belt routing info is on a label somewhere in the engine bay. I haven't looked for it in the Civic so I am not sure where. Last car I replaced the belt on (mustang), the routing info was on the plastic panel at the front of the engine bay....right over the radiator next to the hood latch.
