how are they able to sell the wheels then? is that an exception to the rule?
I'm gonna have to go talk to the parts manager I'm friends with, see if we can't work around that.. lol
good info FBPSidan </TD></TR></TABLE>
The wheels are an exception because the wheels being sold don't have TPMS like the actual Mugen Si being sold has, and Mugen had an overstock of them and offered them to US Honda Dealers.
I guess this is Honda's attempt to realy keep these parts limited, doesn't bother me too much. There will be ways around it and I have a coupe anyways.

Not to mention that they'd hopefully fit like a glove (although talk of the HFP kit disheartens me). Honestly though, I could get the replica Type-R/RR bodykit that was posted on 8th, which looks even better.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I hope you realize that that is a fiberglass body kit and may look alright in the pics but will most likely be much more flimsy and more prone to cracking not to mention the fitment is probably far from perfect.

did you read anything about the parts kingmotorsports sells?
These parts are designed to fit the Japanese Market Type R only. We will be test fitting these parts on US cars soon.
and from everything else I read you are correct and the only thing we can not get would be the grill, and the front lip and most likely the shift ****

I know the one being offered by BEP is fiberglass, but I'm hoping the person who posted those pics was telling the truth in that his friend is coming out with an ABS version.
That or I might have to jack the kit off of a Mugen Si

Re: (BlaqkAudio)
I just used that VIN that somebody was nice enough to hand out to look up some parts... Wierd thing man, just punching in that VIN seemed to perminately unlock our parts computer so now we have access to all of them... I browsed around a bit and they are proud as **** of these parts. Shift **** is $154, struts are $568 a piece, rear wing is around $900, grill is $563, and verified the $777 per wheel. I found some sick center caps for the mugen wheels that I haven't seen in any photos of the mugen Si that are only like $30 each, and theres some cross-drilled mugen rotors that don't have a price yet... Theres also some door garnishes, not sure if those are standard issue for the mugen Si or not but they look really nice. But looks like nobody will have any problems getting this stuff if they want it and can ante up

Mugen has always used fiberglass and their fitment has always been top notch. Is there anything your basing this on, or just experience with knock off fiberglass kits?
