No, our dyno does not read high. An example, we have customers making low 400whp trapping 128-132mph in the 1/4 mile in 2400lb cars. In fact, we have several customers' k20 motors with bolt-ons, RBC intake manifold, and tuning that make 225-230whp range...about exactly what you are making. </TD></TR></TABLE>

do you have a stock si dyno to compare????

No. If a car doesn't have any engine management available, we do not tune it obviously. We don't just do baseline power pulls for cars. What I do have is a link to a graph with a k20, IPS cams, rbc intake manifold, etc. and it made 225whp. http://forums.evans-tuning.com...=3786. You made the same power without cams...maybe the dyno you are on is reading high...

I'd imagine this is why your readings are a bit lower than "average". Try a few pulls in 4th gear next time and see what you get.

NOPE hytech header & hytech custom IM & 70mm TB stock k20a-r cr 11.5:1 full 3" exh

I dyno'd 214/150 with rbc & stock TB stock - same setup/tune hit 220/152 on dynojet

as I said a stock k20z3 dyno'd 165 & 125ish ..... not saying evans dyno reads high - i retract that statement. church is another story in itself with k20's with bolt-ons hitting 250 whp

Sorry I forgot to update this... I spoke with Jae and Nat from Blacktrax who dyno'd my car. I made a mistake, they actually did a 4th gear pull.

Where are these guys located in near San Jose? Are they good with Forced Induction?

Yeah they are really <U></U>good! Call and ask for Jae or Aki, tell them I referred you. Check out their website for their project cars. http://www.blacktrax.net

I can vouch that evan's tuning doesn't run high. Had my R tuned their, and the baseline pull was exactly the same HP from a dynojet to his dynapack.
