so what the heII do we do about that crappy paint? Don't body shops charge around $150/hr to buff minor to moderate scratchs?

i just got my 08 si recently at 27200 miles, my clutch died burn out the fly wheels the plate everything at 28300, i dont clutch drive and im pretty experienced at stick shift, so i dont know what it is or was probably the previous owner or probably the clutch it self was defected, other than that nothing else.

97 5sp coupe bearings went out in the tranny at 175,000 pulled it out and had them replaced for $175. Did the clutch as long as I had the tranny out and new half shafts. not that expensive if you can do the work, and not all that hard with the help from the people at Honda-tech

54,000 miles on my 2008 si sedan. All the miles are mine and not 1 major mechanical problem and i drive it like i stole it. I do maintenance religiously and make sure the oil level is always at least halfway between the oil level markers.

93 ej2 with 250.000 on the block... swapped the head out just for the mini me.. my d15b7 head was fine though... time to swap the axles total for parts $160.00

06 Si with 75K and I replaced the clutch at 52K. The only other work that needs to be done soon is front and rear brake replacement.

07 SI FA5, got it in july 2007
got my 3rd gear and synchro replaced due to TSB around 26k, bumpstop also replaced at 30k due to TSB.
Been boosted since 36k pushing currently around 340-360whp.
Had to adjust clutch pedal to prevent grinding quickshifts/powershifts on a stage4 clutch just recently (48k)
Currently 50k, boosted for 14k miles, no big issues. Just rubber on tire seems to disappear faster. :-D

i have 33k on mine only complaint is all the rattles that the car make i have about 3 rattles now in the cabin pisses me off honda is suppose to have superior build quality sometime i fell like im driving a chevy.

Man Glad I read this.. I am for sure going to buy A 4 door Si.. Its just a matter of when now, So It looks Like the Most common issue is 3rd gear. And the people with bigger list seem to be Random. And if Rattles in your cabin make you feel like you own a chevy..then go buy one and see how that goes for you

^ Thats just because its black..LOL it shows everything. I have Dyno blue and it seems a lot better then the Black 99si and better then my 04 silverstone S2K I was curious to see how it would hold up since I think they are using a water based paint now to be echo friendly???. My car did get hit while parked and the paint peeled like skin after a bad sun burn

37k issue with idler pulley no tsb tho does anyone else have this problem my car sounds superchargered
