Didnt the prior CTR (EP3-R) use the K20a motor with roughly 220ps or what it a scaled back version to 200ps? I am sure the DC5-R used the K20a with 220ps and I thought the EP3-R had the same exact engine. Maybe I am mistaken. Would anyone be able to clear that up? Seems wierd they would take a step backwards in the engine power department. </TD></TR></TABLE>
EDM CTR was K20A2 powered, so it only had 200ps. JDM CTR had K20A powered, but rated at 215ps. Reason for lower power than the ITR, the exmani is the one used on the RSX-S and CTR in Europe.
If it comes over here to Japan, I don't think it is going to have 200ps, but will get 220+. We are rumored to only be getting a CTR in sedan version. I love the JDM Sedan, if you look on Mugen's homepage and look at how they styled up a JDM sedan, and then imagine that in R form.

Awsome, thank you very much for clearing that up.
As for the JDM sedan Type-R rumour I have heard that as well. I wonder if the USDM Si sedan is a sign of things to come for you over there?
edit: The Mugen one is the Dominator right? That looked pretty cool too, I just remembered about it. Supercharged as well IIRC.

Yeah the Dominator, it looks quite sexy. Even in stock trim the JDM fascia is so much better looking to my eyes compared to the US or Euro front end.

seriously.. what's more likely here.. someone going and rendering a complete model with all the intricacies of brakes, wheels, tires, body, etc..
OR
someone taking a show car a couple of weeks before the show into a studio, and having it professionally photographed?
Even if you THINK you're a photographer and can tell CGI from normal.. the fact of the matter is.. the original pictures are too small, and the quality too bad with the resizing done really bad to even begin to determine if it's CGI or not. Whoever resized the original images forgot to turn on resampling, which is why you see all the jaggies.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Im not a photographer Im an art director, and I work on automotive accounts TRUST ME...
the first images are CGI.

and that's EXACTLY why i don't trust you. cuz you're not a photographer. Any good photographer will tell you that these are studio shots with professional lighting. How hard is that to see?
again.. you haven't provided ONE reason why these are renders
